Grupo Fantasma | Blue Corn
THE PROJECT:
Longtime client and Money Chicha band leader, Greg Gonzales, is also the bassist for Grammy award winning Latin ensemble, Grupo Fantasma. A nine piece band that is close to 25 years in the city of Austin, TX. They have been known to have shared the stage with other legends like Prince, and the Wu-Tang Clan. I have been called on a few times to create something for a gig poster, merch table options, and digital album cover with a lowrider Santa Claus.
THE PROCESS:
The majority of these deliverables began on my iPad using the Procreate app for everything from the preliminary sketches all the way to the final print files. The poster for the Paramount show with Joe Bataan was a four color screen print produced at legendary Industry Print Shop. You can grab your limited run print HERE. The t-shirt merch was developed in Adobe Illustrator, but unfortunately these designs never made it to print. I still believe these were executed nicely to represent this large group of widely versed individuals.
